Marketing Manager – Connected ReSources

Connected ReSources is a division of ReSource Group Canada that develops and drives omni-channel retail strategies for brands. This includes events, in store activations, social media integration, online content, email campaigns.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Managing our Connected ReSources Division
  • Work with the President to develop and implement the Connected ReSources go to market strategy
  • Develop and manage events, in store activations, product launches, social media campaigns, online content, web development.
  • Develop and present marketing proposals
  • Coordinate a field team for events & activations
  • Attend meetings with key customers and retailers
  • Attend product training and sales meetings

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Post-secondary education. A marketing focus is preferred.
  • Experience in digital and retail marketing
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Creativity, initiative and passion
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Computer savvy. Design and CRM experience an asset
  • Knowledge of Amazon and online retail is an asset
  • Experience with on-line analytics tools an asset
  • Experience with managing a field team an asset
  • Bilingual in French and English an asset

Business Development Manager

We work with top tier brands such as Fujifilm, Monster Products, Muse, Nokia, Polk, Wicked headphones and other.

 

In order to support our growth, we are currently looking for a Business Development Manager working out of our Toronto head office.

 

Reporting to the CEO, the selected candidate will have the following duties:

 

  • Make recommendations to both existing retailer partners and new prospects on the various new products and solutions being offered
  • Identify sales opportunities in existing as well as new channels
  • Determine positioning and key messaging for product launches
  • Act as brand champion for brand integrity
  • Develop business plans
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Brand development and revenue growth strategy
  • Developing new business, prospecting
  • Develop, manage and track marketing budgets, timelines and processes from kickoff to execution
  • Lead or develop additional marketing initiatives as needed
  • Create and maintain strategic marketing tools for regional teams to use in the execution of initiatives at the market level
  • Accountable for achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives
  • Prepare and analyze business information for meetings and client presentations
  • Attend meetings with key customers and vendors
  • Attend product training and sales meetings
  • Responsible for P&L
  • Ensuring ROI targets are achieved
  • PR strategy and messaging support
  • Some travel across Canada and the US will be required

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Post-secondary education
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office, CRM
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
  • Experience in the B2B and educational market is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven experience in new business development and account acquisition
  • Persuasive communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to listen to clients, understand their needs and determine how we can help them achieve their goals
  • Experience in launching brands
  • Experience in marketing
  • Brand management
  • Comfortable in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Flexibility and ability to improvise on the fly
  • Proactive, Self-starter and Entrepreneurial
  • Creativity and Initiative
  • Excellent communication skills to present information clearly, with enthusiasm and persuasion
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Experience in retail business or event management an asset­­­
  • Business level English mandatory, including superior written ability.
